Participate in the Walk for Rescue

Goldzilla 2011 kicks off with the Walk for Rescue, a sponsored 5K walk along a beautiful lakeshore trail in Island Lake County Park.

The Walk for Rescue is RAGOM's biggest fundraiser of the year, and we're grateful that so many Golden Retriever lovers support us by collecting sponsorships for their participation.

HERE'S HOW IT WORKS

In the weeks leading up to the event, ask your friends, co-workers, family and neighbors to support you with a donation. Collecting funds is quick and easy. Just register, and you'll be given your own personalized Goldzilla fundraising page, where you can set your goal and track your progress. Simply give contributors the link to your page, and they can make a donation online, conveniently and securely. All donations are tax-deductible.

All pledges must be accompanied by payment in order to qualify. Totals for funds raised online will be assessed for prize awards at 10 p.m., September 16.

The top fundraising walker, in addition to the incentive prizes listed, will also receive a brand new Bissell Multi-cyclonic Pet Vacuum (compliments of Bissell).

Please note: Final walker fundraiser monies will be determined by approximately 2pm on Saturday, September 17, 2011.

Winner will be responsible for making arrangements to pick up prize at RAGOM office if they are not present at the time of the announcement.

To help ensure that prize apparel will be available in your size, please register as a participant. RAGOM reserves the right to make substitutions if necessary.

* High-value prizes will be sent to eligible participants within four weeks after the event.

PLEASE NOTE: Fundraising will be awarded based on totals raised. If you join as a team, please note that the team will be awarded the same as individuals; however, the TEAM will only be awarded one set of prizes based on the amount raised. For example, if the team raises $500.00, the team will receive one shirt, one hat, one pin, one hoodie, one bandana and one goodie bag.
